Users can now rent articles published in <em>Leonardo</em>, <em>Leonardo Music Journal</em> and other MIT Press journals for a limited, one-time use or extended use with special membership. <h4>Art Inside Chaos: A Special Article About the University of Calabria Evolutionary Systems Group</h4>
<p class="mainText"><a href="http://leonardo.info/isast/journal/bilotta-chaos-article.html"><img src="http://www.leonardo.info/images/Bilotta-computers_175.jpg" align="left" border="0"></a>Leonardo Affiliate <strong>University of Calabria Evolutionary Systems Group (ESG)</strong> shares information on the work of their program in the special article "Art Inside Chaos." In this paper ESG, an innovative Edutainment (education plus entertainment) laboratory on chaos for high school students is presented, promoting the awareness that art and contemporary science have a common matrix. In particular, the group foresees the physical construction of Chua’s circuit, its simulation on a computer, as well as the production of three-dimensional attractors and music. <h4>The Department of Media Study at the University of Buffalo</h4>
<p class="mainText">The Department of Media Study at the University of Buffalo is renowned for its pioneering contributions to film, video and sound art practices and theory. Today, the department adds to these existing strengths conceptual and computational media to offer diversity very few art departments can match. Candidates accepted in the program work together with artists, thinkers and theorists whose work and research deliver formative contributions to current practice and discourse in media arts. Media Study maintains vibrant exchanges with many departments across UB, the flagship institution in the State University of New York, including Anthropology, Architecture, Visual Studies, Geography, Comparative Literature, Music and Theatre+Dance. <h4>UCLA Sci | Art Nanolab: Imagine the "Impossible"</h4>
<p class="mainText"> The UCLA Sci | Art NanoLab is a highly competitive summer program for high
school students interested in collaborating with diverse and notable
minds to challenge traditional, polarized perspectives of the arts and
sciences. This program is open to high school students who are
graduating seniors or will be juniors or seniors in the fall.
Throughout the 2-week intensive program, students will make
connections between cutting-edge scientific research, popular culture
