MEDIA MANIAC POTLUCK
Media Maniac Potluck provides educators and practitioners in the arts
and technology field an opportunity to network with one another and
discuss issues surrounding new media education, exhibition and its
presence in our culture. Participants will have a chance to network
with colleagues possessing similar interests and/or educational goals.
In addition, the group gathers for the opportunity to exchange ideas
in the area of media arts development. We would like to extend our
invitation to a diverse group of educators from academia to the
practitioners and thinkers of media industry, art institutions and
beyond for an exposure to networks within the art and technology
community.

Also, guest speaker Nisar Keshvani will share insight into the
Leonardo Electronic Almanac (MIT Press). Jointly produced by Leonardo,
the International Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology
(ISAST), and published by MIT Press, is an electronic journal
dedicated to providing a forum for those who are interested in the
realm where art, science and technology converge.

Singaporean Nisar Keshvani is a consultant, Internet journalist, web
developer, filmmaker, curator, educator and new media specialist. In
the last decade, he has worked across five continents (Asia, Africa,
Europe, North America and Australia/Oceania). He is Director of
