<div class="im"><span style="border-collapse:collapse;font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><b>The Lebanese Club at MIT</b> is excited to announce the screening of "<b>Meet Me Halfway</b>" - a new documentary film that follows the lives of four underprivileged youth in Lebanon as they struggle to pursue their passions despite very limited resources (documentary trailer <font><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOe7iNrNi3o" target="_blank">here</a>)</font>. It sheds light on how <b><i>The Nawaya Network</i>, a new NGO in Lebanon, plans to empower these youth and help them build a brighter future.</b></span></div>
<div><span style="border-collapse:collapse;font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><div><em><br></em></div><div><em>The Nawaya Network </em>is founded by <b>Zeina Saab (MIT '09)</b> whose aim is to connect promising or talented underprivileged youth to resources that will help them develop their creative and athletic abilities. Via an interactive online platform, the NGO will redirect financial, educational, and material resources to these youth as a way to keep them off the streets and away from violence, crime, and drug use.</div>
<div><br></div><div><span style="font-weight:bold;font-size:small">Zeina will be joining us via Skype from Beirut to introduce her new initiative, to answer any questions, and to discuss ways the US community can get involved.</span></div>
