Imad Jureidini is the co-founder of Yamli.com (<a href="http://www.yamli.com/" target="_blank">http://www.yamli.com</a>), a<br>
Cambridge-based startup that aims to empower the Arabic language on the<br>
Internet. Launched in November 2007, Yamli offers a breakthrough, award-winning<br>
technology that allows users to type Arabic using Latin characters. Yamli's<br>
long-term goals are to drive innovation in the Arabic web by developing Arabic<br>
centric solutions for users in the Middle East and the world.<br>
<br>
Imad is of Lebanese-American descent and grew up in France. He holds a BS in<br>
Applied Physics from Columbia University and obtained his PhD in Nuclear<br>
Engineering from MIT in 1998. He has spent the past ten years working in the<br>
software industry as an engineer and entrepreneur, both at startups and large<br>
companies. Imad also sits on the board of INLET, a non-profit organization<br>
whose goal is to foster entrepreneurship in the MENA region in general and<br>
Lebanon in particular.<br>
