to announce an upcoming lecture by Dr. Roger Allen, Professor of Arabic Language
and Literature in the Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the
University of Pennsylvania.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Professor Allen is one of the most influential
scholars in the study of Modern Arabic Literature. The title of his talk
will be NAGUIB MAHFOUZ: A RETROSPECTIVE and will focus on the work of
Egyptian novelist and Nobel laureate Naguib Mahfouz.</FONT></DIV>
