The <a href="http://www.iita.org/crop/cassava.htm">manioc</a> (also
called cassava, yuca, arrowroot and tapioca) is a staple food crop of
many countries. It is also a significant element of an MIT project to
reduce deforestation and produce a clean-burning cooking fuel that could
improve the health of millions of people. In both Haiti and Ghana, the
current methods of processing cassava are dangerous, hard work, and
extremely time-consuming. This IAP, can you invent a device to
help?<br><br>
We will provide basic materials, expert advice, and fun events. You bring
the ideas!<br><br>
