American Express is sponsoring a contest that rewards a project idea that is
"innovative, achievable and has a broad, positive impact." </span>It
can be anything from clean drinking water for kids in Africa to dog kennels in
prisons for healing inmates. You get 1000 characters (including spaces!)
to try to convince American Express cardmembers that your idea is the best, and
people will vote on July 3rd. For each person that registers to vote on
the project, AmEx will contribute another dollar to the pot (up to $5
million). If you have something you'd like to submit for this contest,
the deadline is June 17th. (You do have to have an AmEx card to
register/vote/submit ideas.)<br>
