There is a patch for this from a Debian user at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=549476 although it has some issues. Unfortunately I do not have an IPv6 testing environment. If I clean up the patch and commit it to trunk, do you have the necessary facilities to test it in an IPv6 environment?
