[IS&T Security-FYI] IAP Session next week on Applying the Principles of Risk Management

Dear colleagues,

I’m writing to let you know of an IAP session scheduled for next Wednesday, January 15 at 10 a.m. in 32-141 (Stata Center) which may be of interest to you or people working in your area. Deb Fisher and Saumya Khanduja of Risk Management and Compliance Services and I are co-presenting on “Applying the Principles of Risk Management.” The session will introduce risk management concepts and describe how these apply to risks now facing MIT and higher education. The session will feature a presentation on cyber threats and how a new framework for protecting information addresses those threats.
