subject areas that<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong style="font-family: 'helvetica neue', helvetica, arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;" class="">complement – rather than duplicate</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>–
classes being offered in the traditional departments.<br class="">

Up to<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong style="font-family: 'helvetica neue', helvetica, arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;" class="">twenty courses</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>will be chosen from a very competitive
pool. Classes meet for 2.5 hours in the evening, once a week, over thirteen weeks. They are usually kept to less than twenty students, and are discussion and participation oriented. Courses are usually taught in a classroom setting at the Tufts Medford/Somerville
campus, although proposals for online courses have been considered in exceptional cases.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong style="font-family: 'helvetica neue', helvetica, arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;" class="">Stipend: $4,500.00
for the semester </strong>(begins Thursday, January 18, 2018).<br class="">
