<b>Postdoctoral Research Associate in the History of Technology and Business</b>. The Department of Engineering & Society at the University of Virginia (<a href="http://www.sts.virginia.edu/" eudora="autourl"> http://www.sts.virginia.edu/</a>) is seeking a
qualified candidate to conduct research in the history of technology and business. The successful candidate will hold a recent Ph.D. and have experience conducting historical research relating to technology, engineering, or business in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Preference will be shown to those candidates with an interest in understanding invention and entrepreneurship. Along with assisting faculty with research and writing, the Research Associate will teach 1-2 courses per year. The salary is $45,000 with benefits,
and appointment will be made for the academic year 2015-16 with the opportunity for a two-year renewal. The position will begin 25 August 2015.
