The Department of International Studies in the School of Global and International Studies, College of Arts and Sciences, Indiana University, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in global health and/or human-environment
interactions; to begin August 2014. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, particularly those with quantitative expertise, demonstrated methodological training, and a commitment to working on international issues (and in international settings),
preferably (but not necessarily) involving South America (Brazil) and Southeast Asia. We are seeking faculty who have an interdisciplinary background with expertise in issues relevant to global health (from epidemiology to practices and policies, population
issues, infectious or chronic diseases, health disparities, etc.) and/or human-environment interactions (e.g., environmental health, natural resource management, climate change, ecosystem services and vulnerabilities, etc.). The successful candidate will teach
a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, advise undergraduate and graduate students, participate in the development of the departmental PhD programs, maintain an active research agenda (including publishing where appropriate and establishing an externally
