administrative work is required. In addition, researchers regularly contribute
to Passport, the blog by the editors of FP. They also represent the magazine at

size=3>Music@Menlo is seeking a mature, reliable intern for its 2008 season. The
Artist Liaison will work closely with festival staff to coordinate logistics for
performing artists and lecturers including (but not limited to) travel, housing,
local transportation, and scheduling. The Artist Liaison’s main role will be to
serve as the primary point of<BR>contact for artists and ensure their overall
comfort—no request is too big or too small. </FONT></P>

Candidate must be very detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task
efficiently<BR>• Must be able to manage a large workload over a short period of
time<BR>• Ability to remain calm and pleasant in a fast paced environment, as
well as make good decisions quickly<BR>• Strong computer skills required (Word,
Excel, email, etc.)<BR>• Previous administrative/travel/event
planning/logistical experience preferred<BR>• The position requires the
candidate to work independently, but integrate role with a larger, cohesive
team<BR>• Knowledge of the Atherton/Menlo Park/Palo Alto area required,
including all area airports<BR>• Position can be physically demanding; interns
are required to be able to lift and carry 40+ lbs and endure long<BR>work days
while the festival is running<BR>• Candidate must be available to work full
time, including days, evenings and weekends as requested<BR>• Must have a valid
driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable personal passenger
vehicle</FONT></P>
