Path of Professorship Workshop </b></p><p class="Clarissa">Graduate women
students in science and engineering who are within 2 years of PhD completion
and are considering a faculty career are invited to register now for <b>Path
of Professorship</b> which will be held on <b>October 22rd and 23th</b>.
This 1.5 day workshop will focus on skills, strategies and "insider
information" necessary to succeed in securing a faculty position,
negotiating the tenure track, and advancing to other leadership positions. More
than 25 women faculty speakers will share their wisdom, insights and

space is limited, and there has been a wait list each year, so aspiring

Centre will offer student focused grants called the “Explorer Grant” to assist
individual students or student groups, with their faculty mentor, explore
further development and commercialization of innovative work originated by the
student(s). The Explorer Grant will provide up to $50,000 in funding to
develop commercial prototypes, evaluate go-to-market strategies and de-risk the
project so that it can be licensed to an existing company or form the basis of
a start-up company. By increasing connectivity with the Singapore and
international venture community, the Innovation Centre will provide business
