<DIV><STRONG><U>Women's Self-Defense Course</U></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV>The MIT Police is offering a Rape Aggression Defense Course this IAP!</DIV>
<DIV>(dates and times with registration information attached)</DIV>
<DIV>This Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Course, being offered by the MIT
Police, is a hands on self defense course where you learn about dependency
on yourself, awareness, risk reduction, recognition, and avoidance of a crime
risk. You will be given the mental and physical "tools" to defend yourself if
necessary. This course is 12 hours, attendance at all sessions is mandatory and
there is a $20 fee to cover class materials. There are no physical requirements
for this course! Once you have completed this course you can always return and
refresh your skills at /no/ additional charge, whether here at MIT or anywhere
else in the world that the RAD course is offered - it is RAD's commitment to
keep you aware and confident.</DIV>
