·       NE GWiSE is having its third annual Summer Retreat! This year the focus is on diversity, inclusion, and intersectionality. The goals of the retreat are to recap the previous year, provide professional development workshops related to the theme of the year, and socialize/network across universities. As such, the day will include an inspiring keynote speaker, a mixture of workshops, social hour, and more!

We will be taking a private, guided tour of the museum’s masterpieces, and also learn about how Isabella created her collection! Museum admission free for MIT students.

5.   The Sound of Pride: FISI @ The Gardner

Details: The “if you can Feel it, you can Speak it” Open Mic Movement, or FiSi, is Boston’s longest-running open mic dedicated to the voices of the LGBTQIA communities of color. Hosted every second Thursday of the month at the Milky Way in JP, the Mic was founded in 2009 and has been home for dozens of artists and those seeking space.
Join artist Daniel Corral in creating a mosaic that celebrates the pride within yourself. Combine fun materials with images of queer historical figures and works selected from the Gardner's collection.
