Interested in helping out with the GWAMIT fall leadership conference? Its not too late! Please join us for our upcoming meeting on Wednesday, July 16th at 2pm in the Stata Center cafeteria. During the meeting, we will be reaching out to potential speakers, so please bring a computer (if possible) and any ideas that you have for dynamic women speakers. Hope to see you there!

4. Acing the Interview with Lauren Celano, Founder and CEO of Propel Careers
When: Monday, July 14th, 3-4:30pm

In this seminar, Propel Careers will provide advice for how to succeed during an interview, whether phone,Skype, in person, or one-on-one or panel setting. Lauren will provide insight on what hiring managers look for when conducting interviews as well as sample interview questions and with their (preferred) types of responses. Propel will also provide tips on research that a candidate can do to make sure they have relevant background information on the company and interviewers. 5. [MASS AWIS] Annual Summer Potluck Picnic

Please join MASS AWIS for the annual FREE summer picnic. Friends and familyare welcome to attend. Please bring a food dish to share and chairs and/or blankets for you and your guests. 6. Harvard vs. MIT Case Competition
When: August 12th-22nd
Application Deadline: Tuesday, July 22nd

The competition spans 11 days and provides participants with a unique opportunity to engage in a real business problem currently being faced by a client company. Past clients include Zipcar, My Trio Rings, SocialSci, and others. Participants will work in four-person interdisciplinary teams to analyze the case, develop creative and realistic solutions, and in the final stage of the competition present their recommendations to the client company and consultant judges. The Harvard vs. MIT Case Competition is unique among its kind as it closely simulates real-world consulting in a compressed but substantial time-frame of 11 days, giving participants access to mentorship from top consultants and industry experts, and providing them with feedback from the client company, consultants, and other experts.

We are organizing a series of web presentations in July to help graduate students learn more about McKinsey & Company.  Each session will provide an introduction to McKinsey, the work we do and details on our application process while highlighting one of several McKinsey practices or topics, including Big Data, Business Technology, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Women at McKinsey.
