Given the recent pedestrian fatality in Cambridge and bicycle fatality in Boston, these issues do not seem to go away without constant attention. I just wanted to make people aware that may be interested in attending and speaking up in support of this policy order, and more generally road safety. (I will unfortunately be out of town.)</div><div><br></div><div>As some background, the EAB has approved a <a href="http://gsc.mit.edu/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/EAB-2017-MA-Road-Safety.pdf" target="_blank">statement on MA road safety bill</a>, Peter delivered a statement at a recent statehouse hearing, and the EAB has approved a statement on creating reduced speed limit "safety zones" in Cambridge (we are looking to add a few stats, so final version pending).
