Dear Friends of the MIT Glass Lab,<div><div>I want to make you all aware of, and invite you to, two upcoming events that the MIT Glass Lab is involved in:</div><div>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style>1.<span style="font:7.0pt "Times New Roman""> </span></span></span><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The <b style>GlassBoston </b>conference will take place this upcoming June 13-17 at
two venues in Cambridge: MIT (June 13), and APG Studios (June 14-17) in North
Cambridge. A day of lectures, demos, tours, and a glass exhibit at MIT will be
followed by three days of glass blowing and flame working demonstrations at
APG. Both venues will feature presenters of international acclaim. <b style>Register now! </b>GlassBoston will be
limited to only 200 attendees.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:19px">The MIT <b style>Glass Band </b>has been working and playing with coaxing sound from
glass instruments since last October, and will be giving it’s first public performance
at the <b style>CAST Marathon Concert </b>on
Friday, April 5<sup>th</sup> in Kresge Auditorium. Members of the Glass Band
will introduce the instruments they have made and then improvise with them. More
