Dear friends of the MIT Glass Lab,<div>This week Oakland-based artist, MIT and RISD alum, and our esteemed webmaster Helen Lee will be an artist-in-residence in the Glass Lab. </div><div>Helen's work is highly experimental in nature, and often explores the intersection of sculptural form and written language. On Friday, February 8, Lee will give a slide talk about her work in room 6-120, starting around 6:45PM. You are invited.</div>
<div>Before the talk commences, we will be conducting a blind taste test to rank currently available brands of BBQ potato chips. This has been a hotly contested issue on pumpkin crews for some time now, and we will be attempting to resolve it at this gathering. If you have a favorite brand of BBQ potato chip, feel free to bring it to the contest.</div>
<div>See you on Friday.</div><div><br></div><div>Peter</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br clear="all"><div><br></div>-- <br>Peter Houk<br>Director, Glass Lab<br>Department of Materials Science and Engineering<br>
