Founded in 1996, the company includes FableVision Studios, its development division, headquartered above the Boston Children’s Museum, and FableVision Learning, based in Dedham, MA, which focuses on sales and distribution of K–12 educational products. </p>

<p>WEB DEVELOPER</p>
<p>We are looking for freelance Web developers to work with our team developing educational products for children. He/She will work with a staff team, consisting of a lead developer, artist and a project manager. We prefer Boston-based developers. We have openings beginning in late March through May with the potential for more work in the future. </p>

<p>Requirements: </p>
<ul>
<li>Strong HTML5 skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) </li>
<li>Experience programming complex websites</li>
<li>Experience working with designers and content developers on a team-based project </li>
</ul>

<p>Recommendations:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with Flash (ActionScript 3) development</li>
<li>Database experience</li>
<li>Experience with and interest in education and kids media</li>
<li>Experience with CMS’s (e.g. Drupal, Expression Engine) </li>
<li>Familiar with source control (SVN in particular) </li>
</ul>
