Philip,

Robot Entertainment is looking to hire an entry level game programmer. I’ve attached the position description/what we’re looking for as a PDF. We’re also looking to hire experienced developers, that posting can be found on our company website: http://www.robotentertainment.com/careers.

Robot is a small (<50 person) independent studio located in Plano, TX (part of the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area). It was formed by a group of developers from Ensemble Studios after Microsoft shut down that studio. Our first game Age of Empires Online is in closed beta, and will be releasing August 16th. Our current project is called Orcs Must Die! (see www.orcsmustdie.com) OMD is currently in final production and will be launching later this summer on PC and Consoles. We’ve got a couple of other non-RTS projects which are unannounced but include an iPhone game and a “slightly bigger scope” game, so there’s no shortage of interesting and challenging things to work on. We’re platform and genre agnostic, and are driven by creating innovative game play experiences on a variety of platforms as opposed to one over-arching theme (such Facebook-only, mobile-only, etc.) We are 100% owned by the founders and current employees with no outside ownership and no debt.

If you could send this around to the GAMBIT lists, that would be great.

Thanks,

Justin Moe
