Trees of arrays?

How easy would it be to use galib's built-in genome types to build a
tree type with one-dimensional real vectors as leaf nodes? I guess the
starting point would be to instantiate the tree template with a
RealGenome or something -- but what would one have to override to
allow crossover and mutation to occur in the leaf nodes, as well as in
the tree itself?

Any ideas?
