<div class=""><span style="font-family: Calibri;">As you may have read by now, the Sandbox Innovation Fund Program (Sandbox), based at SoE in partnership with the MIT Innovation Initiative, officially launched this morning.</span></div>

<div class=""><span class="" style="font-family: Calibri;">The skinny: </span><font face="Calibri,sans-serif" class="">Grounded in education, Sandbox is a non-competitive opportunity open to all 11,000 of MIT’s students. It is also designed to integrate with
related activities and programs throughout the campus. The initial participants came from the StartMIT program; the next application period (again, open to all students) will be in March. You can direct interested undergrads and graduate students to the website
in the meantime.</font></div>
