MIT EDITORS' CLUB

*Meeting Notes from November 14, 2013*

*MIT's Graphic Identity*

Our colleagues at Communication Production Services asked me if they could spend part of this meeting telling us about MIT's newest graphic identity…and we ended up spending the entire time learning about the dos and don'ts of using the MIT logo. I personally
learned a lot, but because some of the distinctions are subtle, I think it's best to direct you to the web site CPS has created on the subject:

http://web.mit.edu/graphicidentity/

One very useful part of the site is a primer on dos and don'ts. It gives a number of examples to that end. Go to: http://web.mit.edu/graphicidentity/logo-do-dont.html

Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to contact the CPS through Bara Blender at bblender@MIT.EDU or (617) 258-9367.

*Thank You!*

Many thanks to Patsy Sampson of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science for hosting this meeting.
