The Student Center and Lobby 10 are managed by the Campus Activities Complex in the Division of Student Life. I spoke with someone in that office just now, and she said you can sign up for times and spaces through their online space reservation system:

http://studentlife.mit.edu/cac/services/virtualems

A good first step would be to call (x3-3913) or to email the CAC office (campus-activities@mit.edu) to learn more about the process.

For DAPER, a good first step is to contact Jen Gallagher (2-2349, gallaje@mit.edu) the assistant director of marketing for MIT Recreational Sports, which manages the gym facility.

Finally, in case you are not familiar with “Infinite Display,” I wanted to draw your attention to this service to display ads on the screens located around the campus, such as the Infinite Corridor, Lobby 10, the Student Center, and Student Street. It might be a good option, if you are not considering it already:

Over the next two months the Office of the Vice President for Finance will be conducting a campaign to encourage faculty, staff and student employees to opt for electronic-only delivery of their W-2 tax forms.

We would like to place large posters promoting this at various points around campus. We envision 24” x 36” posters on tripods.

Would anyone know whether a central MIT group would approve a request to do this? Or would I need to seek permission from individual departments/schools?

We are looking at the following locations:
