We invite you to visit the site now to see the preview video of our first nine students.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Starting November 1, one student will be highlighted each month, and they will tell their stories in a series of videos. Each month, donors will receive an e-mail from MIT introducing the featured student, and reminding them to visit the site throughout the month to see additional videos. A PDF sample of the first e-mail to donors is attached.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">The Web site will also give donors and friends important information about the Campaign for Students and its four priorities: undergraduate scholarships, graduate support, the undergraduate commons, and student life and related capital projects. The site will link directly to the Giving site to facilitate online giving. Additionally, the site will link to the many different parts of MIT - departments, labs, and activities - in which the featured students are involved.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Later this month, and again in March, select donors will be mailed a collection of student "trading cards," one for each student featured in the quiet phase of the campaign, that tell when each student will be featured. Five cards will be mailed this month along with information about the campaign; the remaining four cards and additional details about the campaign will be mailed in March.
