Communications Coordinator – Computation for Design and Optimization
(CDO)<br>
Part-Time, Temporary Position<br>
20 Hours/Week<br>
Time Period: Effective immediately til end of August 2005<br>

<b>Communications Coordinator</b>,<i> Computation for Design and
Optimization (CDO</i>), to provide administrative support to the
program's Codirectors. Will play a key role in formulating,
planning, and implementing communications, marketing, and promotional
efforts for a new master’s degree program at MIT. Primary
responsibilities will include developing, designing and writing
various pieces which include advertisements, program brochure, and
promotional posters; assist with updating and maintaining the
program’s website; will handle a variety of other administrative
duties as requested (such as filing, faxing, copying, and other
organizational details). <br>

REQUIREMENTS: Seek a hands-on team player. Familiarity
with Microsoft Word, and excellent proofreading, editing, and writing
skills; familiarity with web design software desired (Dreamweaver or
HTML) but not essential. Attention to detail a must, as is
ability to multitask, take initiative, and work independently with
little supervision. Strong organizational skills. <br>
