<blockquote type="cite" cite>Hi Elizabeth,</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite> </blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>Thanks for calling back. As I mentioned,
I am looking for nominees for the 2005 Popular Mechanics Innovator
Awards, which recognize advances in the fields of science, technology
and consumer design (emphasis on applied science). Candidates might
include a scientist working on the cutting edge of nanomedicine,
someone devising a tsunami early-warning system or the designers of
SpaceShipOne. Here are our award categories:<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite> <br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>*<i> Innovator Award:</i> 8 or 10
individuals whose<u> current</u> ideas or research will transform the
world.<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite> <br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>*<i> Maverick Award:</i> a single
individual whose<u> past and present</u> innovations put them in a
class by themselves.<br>
