Foundation is proud to announce it is now accepting Nominations for
the 2005<i><b> $20,000 Homeland Security Awards </b></i> and the
2005<i><b> $50,000 Frank Annunzio Awards</b></i> honoring "cutting
edge" innovations, and providing incentive for continuing research
and/or a specific project. The awards will be bestowed on living
United States citizens who are making or have recently made
significant and positive beneficial contributions.<br>

<blockquote type="cite" cite>Four<i><b> $5,000 Homeland Security
Awards</b></i> will be presented to individuals or companies that are
making measurable and constructive contributions related to basic
and/or advanced research in the following four fields:<br>

Nuclear;</b></i> 2)<i><b> Border/Transportation Security;</b></i>
3)<i><b> Emergency Response;</b></i> and<br>
</blockquote>

Sharing</b></i>. <br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite> <br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>One<i><b> $25,000 Frank Annunzio
Award</b></i> will be presented to an individual who is making a
beneficial<br>

<blockquote type="cite" cite>impact on society through talent,
knowledge, and determination in the<i><b> Science/Technology</b></i>
field, and one<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><i><b>new $25,000</b></i> award will be
presented in the<i><b> Alternative Energy Sources (AES)</b></i>
field.<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite> <br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>The purpose of the new<i><b> AES</b></i>
award is to strengthen America's energy security; environmental
quality;<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>enhance energy efficiency and
productivity; and bring clean, reliable and affordable energy
technologies to the<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>marketplace for both consumers and
industry. New technologies may harness the Earth's power and
resources<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>through the use of renewables such as bio
energy, geothermal, hydrogen, solar and wind; or make more
proficient<br>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite>use of electric power, fossil fuels
(coal, oil, and natural gas), fusion, hydropower and nuclear as it
relates to developing "cutting edge" energy efficient technologies
for buildings, homes, transportation, power systems and/or
industry.<br>
