I wonder if you might be able to help. One of my colleagues is writing
a proposal and needs to provide some narrative text (including
statistics where appropriate) on the following topics:<br>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br>
1. "Evidence of [MIT's] strength in science and engineering,
e.g., recognition for curricular, faculty or student excellence by
external organizations; the availability of extraordinary scientific
or technical facilities or equipment; unusually high proportions of
undergraduates who continue their education in science or
engineering" and<br>
<br>
2. Any MIT "programs to interest young women in science or
engineering (# of female participants); programs to facilitate the
success of female students in these areas (# of female participants);
policies or practices that provide a nurturing environment for women
faculty."</blockquote>
</blockquote>
<blockquote type="cite" cite><br>
<br>
<br>
If anyone has any documents or links that address any of the above
could you let me know? Of course there is a lot of material and links
that are available and we are looking at MIT Facts. But it just
occurred to me that you might have something specific that could just
fit the bill for any of the above points!<br>
Thanks<br>
Janet<br>
