Hi Everybody,

Let me know if your lab/center might be interested in hosting
visitors from the Museum of Science (see below). Several of you are
already involved in this program; thanks!

Good day.

The Museum of Science is always eager to include visits to MIT
laboratories during the academic year.

During the past two years we have
arranged several "technological visits" (see list
below) and our audience clearly will appreciate more!

Are there other MIT laboratories you can
suggest? I'll be glad to do all the foot work, but will
appreciate your skill in pointing me in the right direction(s).
Space, engineering, cognitive sciences, flight, media, The MIT home
page always lists more opportunities than one might realistically
imagine. It all works I think as long as the lab is equipped for
visitors and is interested in helping a lay audience understand a
little of their work. This is where your expertise is a welcome
filter.

Our catalog deadline is Nov. 1 for all
programs for the Feb-May time frame. As always, I'll look
forward to your ideas. THANKS VERY MUCH for your continued assistance
