Hello Lore,

thanks for your interest in DSpace. I attempted to answer your questions, but if the answer seems unclear, or you wish to specify your questions further, please do !

1. Not exactly sure what you mean with "modules" in this context.
In any case:
-> In terms of content, DSpace is able to handle any digital resource, captured in files (and represented in bitstreams). These could be documents, audiovisual files, datasets, ...
-> Functionality and grouping of duties: you are able to design a hierarchy of communities and collections of items. For each of these communities and collections, you can delegate certain administrative rights to different people. An important part are the different steps in the workflow process: for each collection, you can have different people responsible for the submission of new items, as well as people responsible for reviewing//editing this new content.
As an administrator, you are able to modify the look and feel of the whole application, create and edit information pages for each collection or community, and define profiles of descriptive (metadata) fields for the submission of items. These profiles can be different for each collection.

2. From what I recall, Netlibrary is an important resource of commercial resources (ebooks, audiobooks, databases). I'm not sure which goals you would like to achieve with an integration, but it might be technically possible to import descriptive fields (metdata) from Netlibrary resources, and links to those items in Netlibrary. This way, visitors to your DSpace instance could be linked to items in Netlibrary.
