<P>This is a M.D from Spain. I would like to know more about dspace projects regarding health issues like electronical medical records. I´m wondering about the possibility of creating a database for patients worldwide (with a restricted area, https), where patients could enter their medical data (care card) like medical reports, digital Xrays. etc, and that from there could be conected to doctors through videoconference. Doctors would have their own database non accesible to patients.</P>
<P>And another question about research. It is possible to stablish a network of research authors or Departments for specific areas (like education, health and society), and where these authors could hang their papers to be shared in a collaborative way? This idea is for the Education Health and Society Foundation, which I´m the President, an international foundation which is responsible for the Programa Paciente Experto at Spain (<A href="http://www.pacienteexperto.org">www.pacienteexperto.org</A>).
