I would very much like to thank the people (and their institutions) who have volunteered to monitor and shepherd these lists...<br>
wherever possible there will be two shepherds to provide better coverage, but these folks have no formal responsibility to answer questions and such, just a strong interest in the topic and a willingness to try to keep the conversation moving. And someone from MIT will subscribe to each list too, in case that's helpful.<br><br>
To subscribe to a list go to <a href="http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/dspace-xxxxx" eudora="autourl">http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/dspace-xxxxx</a> where dspace-xxxxx is the name of the list you're after. The instructions from there are pretty simple, but write me if you run into trouble. We'll send a welcome message out to each list in a week or so, if no one has posted anything yet, so that you'll know it's working. <br><br>
The dspace-general list will remain for questions that aren't specific to one of these SIGs, and technical questions should continue to go to dspace-tech or dspace-devel. In another few weeks we will eliminate the DSpace Announcements list (dspc-ann) in favor of dspace-general and these SIG lists. See if you can remember all that :-)<br><br>
