projects</STRONG> -- New Century Cities, <SPAN

some of our achievements in the past year. </SPAN><SPAN
class=689441113-25042003>O</SPAN>ver the next year, we hope to achieve even
more. We have an ambitious program for the alumni reunion weekend, a research
workshop for IAP, and the Center’s 20th Anniversary conference ("<EM>Ground Zero
-- MIT/CRE: At the Nexus of the Real Estate Industry</EM>") <SPAN
class=689441113-25042003>scheduled for</SPAN> March 2005.</FONT></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=3></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=3>We are reaching out to the alums of the Center for
Real Estate and asking you to help us <SPAN class=689441113-25042003>to
</SPAN>continue to grow, to help us in our efforts to be the foremost source of
research and information about the real estate industry domestically and
internationally. If you are a real estate professional, being able to access
information, and people with information, is a competitive advantage. After all,
"knowledge is power".</FONT></P>

<P><FONT face=Arial><FONT size=3><SPAN class=689441113-25042003>To grow, the
Center needs money and the involvement of our three key constituents --
graduates, industry, and MIT. </SPAN>Our fundraising goals<SPAN
class=689441113-25042003> for the alumni NewVisions campaign</SPAN> are
three-fold:</FONT></FONT></P>

<LI><FONT face=Arial size=3>To raise $500,000 by May 28, 2004. <U>We achieved
this goal and have raised $5<SPAN class=689441113-25042003>73,185</SPAN><SPAN

<LI><FONT face=Arial size=3>To raise $1.2 million<SPAN
class=689441113-25042003> in the overall campaign</SPAN>. We have raised
almost 50% of the target amount.</FONT>
<LI><FONT face=Arial><FONT size=3>To match or exceed the level of
participation for the 15th anniversary. To date we have an overall
participation rate of 44%<SPAN class=689441113-25042003>; participation for
the 15th anniversary was 66%. We are two thirds of the way
there.....</SPAN></FONT></FONT></LI></UL>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial><FONT size=3>In many ways, our most important goal is our
participation goal. <SPAN class=689441113-25042003> <STRONG><U>We want
everyone to make a </U></STRONG></SPAN><STRONG><U>gift at some
level</U></STRONG> -- $<SPAN class=689441113-25042003>5</SPAN> for each of the
Center’s 20 years<SPAN class=689441113-25042003> or even
better,</SPAN> $<SPAN class=689441113-25042003>25</SPAN> for each of the
Center’s 20 years<SPAN class=689441113-25042003> -- <STRONG><U>by June 30,
2004</U></STRONG></SPAN><SPAN class=689441113-25042003>. The amount of
your gift is important, but it is equally important for you to give. If
each graduate who has not pledged committed to supporting the Center with a $100
or $500 gift each year for the next five years, the Center would raise $200,000
to $900,000. These dollars would be used to support the Center's work,
work that is important to our graduates and to the real estate
industry. </SPAN></FONT></FONT></DIV>
