The Honorable Thomas M. Menino, the Mayor of Boston, addressed a capacity
audience in the Gerald Blakeley lecture hall. Mayor Menino talked about
the role of real estate in Boston's neighborhoods and in the growth of the
city. The Mayor's presentation was followed by a panel discussion.

they were reminded of the role of real estate and courageous thinkers.
During his graduation speech, Lorenz Reibling talked about the falling of the
Berlin Wall, the willingness to think beyond the box, and the need to "maximize
intellectual capital beyond barriers and walls". It was an appropriate
speech for the students, for the Center, and for the alums. The full text
