From ndtrek07 at gmail.com Fri Feb 3 20:00:11 2023 From: ndtrek07 at gmail.com (ndtrek07) Date: Sat, 4 Feb 2023 01:00:11 +0000 Subject: [config-package-dev] 'no-rename' with config-package-dev Message-ID: I have a file added to my package.displace file for a debian package being bundled with debhelper. This file I want to displace is provided by an Essential package, so I get this warning when my package is installed: "dpkg-divert: warning: diverting file '/path/to/my/file' from an Essential package with rename is dangerous, use --no-rename" Is there a way to configure the use of '--no-rename' within the config-package-dev config files, or do I need to put manual calls to dpkg-divert in my rules file for this specific file? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
