<br>I would use <br><br>"Once a large database of cervical images with associated clinical outcomes and other pertinent medical data has accumulated and been QA'd, it is likely that artificial intelligence tools can be used to classify images of indeterminate cervical lesions and provide real-time QA, further reducing the need for specialist support."<br>
<br>Also, the next sentence doesn't make sense: "Although this software application was initially developed to facilitate cervical cancer screening, this software application can be used for longitudinal care of patients who live in remote areas, especially if visual inspection is crucial in their clinical monitoring, such as in dermatology and wound care."<br>
<br>First - I would change "this software" to "our software" to make it clear that you are talking about the existing software rather than the AI classifier you refer to in the preceding sentence.<br>Then, it still reads a little oddly. How about:<br>
<br>"Although initially developed to facilitate cervical cancer
screening, our software
application has a general applicability for the longitudinal care
of patients who live in remote areas, particularly for medical problems where visual inspection
is crucial for a patient's ongoing clinical evaluation, such as for skin cancer, dermatology and
wound care."<br>
