[Cad] Papers for next week + CAD tool stories

Sorry I wasn't able to attend last week.

A comment on the Designing Inflatable Structures paper:
There's an old paper on Interactive Flattening of a 3D Model for Plush
Toy Design http://www.geocities.jp/igarashi_lab/pillow/index-e.html. I'm
a little surprised Disney Research did this project since it's so
similar to the Interactive Flattening project. Also, it turns out you
don't need much to fabricate 3D objects from flat patches (like cloth),
since algorithms to flatten 3D models is pretty well researched (at
least for creating UV maps for 3D models).  I wrote an article for MAKE
about a year ago about turning video game models in plushies (using UV
and texture maps). It's all basic linear algebra behind it:
