<i>Science and Society </i>lectures. We’ve run this series for several years and talks are always excellent. I encourage you to attend to gain a broader perspective on research and its impact on and impact by society. Extended questions and discussion at the
end of each talk are encouraged. (Note that the attendance of first-year graduate students is required.)</div>

<div class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing">Our speakers this year are Oliver Rollins and Mary Munson. Prof Rollins is an Associate Professor of Science, Technology, and Society at MIT whose research focuses on sociological aspects of neuroscience.
His talk is <b>January 20th at 2 PM</b>. Prof Munson is a Professor at UMass Chen Medical School and the Past President of ASCB. Her talk is
<b>January 21 at 2 PM. </b>We’re grateful that Prof Munson will also present a talk about her research earlier in the day, at 10 AM. </div>
