This week's Diversity Seminar Series from the Biology Diversity Community (BDC) is tomorrow,
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Wednesday, </span></strong><span class="postbox-detected-content"><b>February 24, at 4pm</b></span><strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"> ET</span></strong> with MIT MechE
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Professor Asegun Henry</span></strong>, who will be sharing his
<em><b><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Perspectives as an MIT Professor and Graduate Student</span></b></em>.<br>
<br>
Dr. Asegun Henry is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT, where he directs the Atomistic Simulation & Energy (ASE) Research Group. Professor Henry’s primary research is in heat transfer, with an emphasis on understanding
the science of energy transport, storage and conversion at the atomic level, along with the development of new industrial scale energy technologies to mitigate climate change. Professor Henry also serves as the MIT MechE's Faculty Diversity Chair and leads
the MIT MechE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force. In this week's seminar, Professor Henry will share his career path and involvement with DEI efforts at MIT.<br>
