<div class="">We were vividly reminded again yesterday that our democracy and communities are fragile. The attack on the US Capitol Building in Washington DC was an attack on our democracy and core values. The scenes we witnessed were frightening and disturbing.</div>

<div class="">In the midst and aftermath of these events, many are finding it difficult to work or focus. It is critical that we treat each other with compassion and understanding. We must also work to protect our freedom and to live up to the responsibilities
that come with it. We will continue to strengthen our community and strive to make it welcoming to all. </div>
