My name is Rujul Gandhi, and I’m a member of the MIT Educational Studies Program (ESP). Every fall, MIT ESP organizes Splash, a program where high school students take classes from MIT undergraduate and graduate students. This year, we’re excited to announce that Splash will still be happening virtually. </ul><p class="">Are you looking for a fun weekend activity this semester? Do you want to be a part of one of MIT’s most iconic events? This fall, teach anything with the Educational Studies Program, through Splash!</p><p class="">Splash gives MIT students like you the opportunity to teach thousands of motivated and curious high school students anything you want, in any teaching format, length, or style. Past classes have included “Bird Basics,” “Explore Solar Energy,” “Cryptography,” “Breakdancing,” “Woven Paper Fish,” “What’s a Genome,” and <a href="https://esp.mit.edu/random" class="">more</a>. Most classes are taught by small teams of MIT students, so spread the word to your friends and colleagues, and join a community of new and past Splash teachers in a weekend-long celebration of teaching and learning! </p><p class="">This year, Splash will be <b class="">fully virtual</b> and take place on the weekend of <b class="">November 14-15</b>. After running Summer HSSP, a virtual program this summer where over 2000 students took classes from nearly 200 teachers, ESP is excited to make virtual Splash an enjoyable experience for all our students and teachers!
