filing patent applications, enforcement of patents in the courts, licensing IP rights, the differences between US and international IP laws and enforcement mechanisms, and the rights an inventor does and does not obtain in the ordinary course of invention
and employment. The course will cover the most current legal issues and trends relating to the protection and enforcement of IP rights relating to life sciences and technology inventions. Readings include judicial opinions and statutory material, and class
