tests on patient tumor samples to help guide clinical decision-making. This work is highly relevant and has the potential to impact patient care. Plus, I'm working mostly with 3D organoid cultures, which is super hot these days. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">2. My post-doc is a phenomenal mentor. In addition to teaching me the science stuff, he spent a lot of time with my career development. He's an MD/PhD and MIT alum who splits his time doing research and seeing patients, so he really taught
me what it means to be a physician-scientist. He was also very active in helping me write my med school application and prepare for interviews, which was great. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">3. You'll really like your lab mates. They're friendly, funny, and super willing to help you learn new techniques or troubleshoot or deal with any other problems that might arise in lab. Also, my PI (Bill Hahn) is a great scientist, a supportive
mentor, and has a history of pumping out successful trainees. So you'll definitely be in good hands.<o:p></o:p></p>
