Intramural Research Training Program and specifically to Dr. Cynthia Dunbar’s translational stem cell biology lab, within which I am currently employed. Dr. Dunbar has a long history of recruiting and fostering the careers of excellent post-baccalaureates,
particularly those with a strong quantitative backgrounds. Most publish a first author or co-first author paper (or more) and present their work at national/international meetings. Their achievements have positioned them well for application to MD, PhD or
