<b class="">MIT Doctoral Program in History, Anthropology, and Science, Technology and Society (HASTS)</b><br class="">
Prospective Student Visit Day<br class="">
<br class="">
<b class="">Monday, October 1, 2018</b><br class="">
9:00 am - 1:00 pm<br class="">
<i class="">Register by: Monday, September 24</i><br class="">
<br class="">
The doctoral program in HASTS trains scholars to study science and technology as activities situated in social and cultural contexts. Students do their research in a wide variety of areas including, but not limited to, history of medicine, anthropology of sustainability,
scientific visualization, environmental history, and anthropology of life sciences. To see the wide variety of dissertation topics written about by our students, visit <a href="http://web.mit.edu/hasts/graduate/alumni.html" class="">http://web.mit.edu/hasts/graduate/alumni.html</a>. <br class="">
<br class="">
The Visit Day gives prospective students a chance to get a better understanding of what our program offers in terms of research and resources, and to help them decide if our program may be a good fit for them. The registration form (due Sept. 24) and outline
of the day's activities are posted at <a href="http://web.mit.edu/hasts/admissions/visit.html" class="">http://web.mit.edu/hasts/admissions/visit.html</a> . </div>

<div class="">If you think you might apply this year, or even a few years from now, you are welcome to attend our visit day on Oct. 1st!<br class="">
