an intensive <i>Summer Institute in Bioethics</i> for U.S. and international participants.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

The “Foundations” component runs from June 1<sup>st</sup> - 9<sup>th</sup> and consists of an introduction to ethical theory

along with a review of bioethical principles, theories, terms, and history, and concludes with a site visit to

<i>The Hastings Center</i> in NY. The remainder of the program covers ethical issues pertaining to
<br>
a broad range of topics including medicine, law, religion, public health, <br>
disability ethics, animal ethics, and the environment.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
