in the Division of Genetics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Our lab uses advanced CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing and genomic screening techniques to understand how transcription factors dictate cell fate. Our eventual goal is to build computationally
predictive models of cell differentiation that would enable us to turn stem cells into therapeutically relevant cell types including pancreatic beta cells and intestinal cell types. We have invented several high-throughput genome editing assays that we are
now applying to this goal, and we collaborate closely with David Gifford’s computational lab at MIT to build computational algorithms that predict stem cell activity.
